LONDON (Alliance News) - Travel company Minoan Group PLC on Thursday said the hearing on the appeal against the planning consent for the company's Crete project will now be heard in September 16.
Minoan said the Council of State in Greece is set to hear an appeal against the presidential decree given to the project and will do so after a summer recess.
Minoan said support for the project, and against the appeal, has been received from a number of stakeholders in Greece.
"Our investment has been judged as strategically important because of the benefits it is expected to bring to Greece and the local municipality," said Christopher Egleton, Minoan's chairman.
Minoan shares were down 3.3% Thursday to 7.25 pence nonetheless.
