LONDON (Alliance News) - Minoan Group PLC Monday said that the Greek Ministry of Culture has approved its Strategic Environmental Assessment for its project in Crete.
The travel company said the decision was made after it received unanimous positive opinion of the environmental assessment from the Central Archaeological Council of Greece.
The company said the achievement represents a significant part of the site's process towards achieving Presidential Decree, a major part of the project's development.
Minoan Group said in April that it had received regional approval for plans to build a luxury holiday resort in Crete, comprising holiday villages, golf courses, a marina, and a conference centre.
Minoan Group shares were up 1.2% to 16.45 pence Monday.
