LONDON (Alliance News) - AIM-listed mining company Vast Resources PLC on Friday said it raised GBP1.0 million before costs via a share placing.
The company issued 188.7 million shares at a price of 0.53 pence each. The stock closed 1.1% higher on Friday at 0.53p per share.
The placing was undertaken by the company's joint broker SVS Securities. Following the admission, Vast Resources will have 5.79 billion shares overall.
The miner did not specify how it intends to use the funds. At the end of September, Vast Resources said it continues to require funding to support a USD2.0 million per annum UK corporate overhead, the local office in Romania, and operations at Manaila polymetallic mine in northern Romania.
