LONDON (Alliance News) - Minds + Machines Group Ltd said Thursday that its first batch of top level domains will launch April 15, when it will begin accepting applications from trademark holders for new domains.
The first batch includes .FISHING, .VODKA, .RODEO, .COOKING, .HORSE and .COUNTRY. Trademark holders will be able to apply for sixty days, and any duplicate applications will be invited to an auction to determine the winner.
At the same time a 60 day period will also open April 15 to allow the public and non-trademark holders to apply for names under the top level domains through accredited registrar. However, trademarked names registered by trademark holders will have priority.
Its client, Dot London, will launch its top-level domain .LONDON April 29.
Shares in Minds + Machines were trading up 1.9% at 17.08 pence Thursday morning.
