(Alliance News) - Mincon Group PLC said it has appointed Paul Lynch as a non-executive director of the company with immediate effect.
Lynch, who currently acts as strategic adviser for a number of companies, has previously served as the chief financial officer of petrol forecourt retailer Applegreen PLC.
The Irish engineering company also announced that Non-Executive Director Jussi Rautiainen will step down from his role effective immediately to take up a new executive management position of regional manager of Mincon's Europe, the Middle East & Africa region.
Chair Hugh McCullough said: "On behalf of the board, I am pleased to welcome Paul to Mincon. Paul brings strong financial experience and extensive knowledge on corporate development. Paul will be a valuable adviser and contributor to both the board and the Mincon business and we all very much look forward to working with him. I would also like to wish Jussi well in his new role as regional manager for the company's EMEA operations. The board has benefited hugely from his extensive knowledge of the mining industry during his time as a non-executive director and we believe his experience will be of great value as the company focuses on the continued development of its EMEA operations."
Mincon Group shares were untraded in London on Friday afternoon, having last closed at 90.00 pence.
