(Alliance News) - Mincon Group PLC said Tuesday Chair Patrick Purcell has stood down and will be replaced by Non-Executive Director Hugh McCullough.
Purcell - who co-founded the firm in 1977 - will remain a non-executive director at drilling equipment maker. Purcell will be immediately replaced by McCullough who has been a non-executive at Mincon since 2016.
"I am honoured to have been appointed as Mincon's Chairman and look forward to working with the board and the executive team as we seek to deliver on the group's strategy and explore opportunities for future growth," McCullough said. "I would like to thank Patrick for his service as chairman of the group in recent years and I look forward to retaining his expertise and guidance as a non-executive director in the future."
Shares in Mincon were 6.4% lower at 95.01 pence in London on Tuesday.
