LONDON (Alliance News) - Milestone Group PLC on Wednesday said the Green Skills Partnership is including both Milestone's Passion Project and its mobile business services in its new initiative to get construction workers into jobs.
Milestone said its mobile business services platform was used by the Green Skills Partnership to ensure compliance by both individual construction workers and construction sites involved in the Construction Industry Training Board programme.
Milestone said its inclusion by the partnership will allow it to benefit from revenue streams related to job vacancies, work placements and learning opportunities.
The Green Skills Partnership, which is backed by the Trade Union Congress, brings together unions, employers, local councils, environmental organisations, education providers, community groups and state agencies to deliver green skills training in construction, retrofit, horticulture and waste management.
Shares in Milestone were trading flat at 0.725 pence on Wednesday.
