LONDON (Alliance News) - Mid Wynd International Investment Trust PLC Monday said its named manager, Michael MacPhee, is to retire from Baillie Gifford & Co on April 30, 2014 after 25 years with the firm.
Mid Wynd, which invests in various sectors, including oil and gas, industrials and healthcare, said it is in discussions with Baillie Gifford over MacPhee's successor.
The trust said an announcement would be made in due course.
Baillie Gifford act as investment manager for the trust.
Mid Wynd shares were Monday quoted at 263 pence, down 1.5 pence, or 0.6%.
