LONDON (Alliance News) - Scientific instruments developer Microsaic Systems PLC said Tuesday that it will be outsourcing the manufacture of its 4000 MiD analytical instrument to Plexus Corp.
"Plexus represents an excellent strategic fit for Microsaic. Its track record and customer base are world class and through this agreement we gain the ability to optimise and scale our manufacturing to meet the increasing demand for our products now and in the future," said Chief Executive Colin Jump in a statement.
No financial details of the agreement were disclosed.
Shares in Microsaic were trading down 2.1% at 46.00 pence per share Tuesday morning.
