Microlise confirms most customer systems online after cyber incident

(Alliance News) - Microlise Group PLC on Monday said it notified international authorities regarding the exfiltration of corporate data from its headquarters as it continues to assess the impact of a cyber incident.

Microlise is a Nottingham, England-based provider of transport technology solutions to fleet operators said the vast majority of customer systems are back online, and reiterated that no customer systems data was compromised.

The company added it does not expect any material adverse impact to its trading forecasts and financial position for 2024.

Microlise in late October reported a cyber incident last week after detecting unauthorised activity on the Microlise network, resulting in disruption to services which are currently inactive.

Separately, in September, the company reported a "major" original equipment manufacturer five-year contract renewal with JC Bamford Excavators Ltd, also known as JCB, a manufacturer of construction equipment.

The contract will cover recurring software-as-a-service software licences and hardware sales until September 2029.

Microlise shares rose 4.8% to 110.00 pence each on Monday afternoon in London.
