LONDON (Alliance News) - Metminco Ltd said Thursday its London AIM market shares will not trade again before their cancellation on October 17.
The company's shares will continue to be listed on the ASX platform in Australia, with UK shareholders required to register their holdings with Metminco's Australian registry.
On Wednesday, Metminco announced that it had raised AUD540,000 - approximately GBP297,066 - from a share placing and intended to raise a further AUD2.5 million via rights issue in order to fund its Quinchia gold project in Colombia and its Jejevo nickel project in the Solomon Islands.
The mining company's shares were suspended September 19.
