LONDON (Alliance News) - Metminco Ltd said Wednesday that it is not aware of any information that would need to be announced under Australian Securities Exchange listing rules after shares in the company jumped.
"As announced previously the company is currently completing an updated Joint Ore Reserves Committee Code 2012 compliant Mineral Resource Estimate for its wholly owned Los Calatos Project in Peru which will be released once finalised," the company said in a statement.
Shares in the dual-listed company closed up 33% on the ASX Wednesday, and are trading up 55.2% at 0.520 pence Wednesday afternoon on the London Stock Exchange.
