LONDON (Alliance News) - Metals Exploration PLC on Thursday said Thursday it has appointed former White Cliff Minerals Ltd executive chair Michael Langoulant as interim chief financial officer.
Shares in Metals Exploration were up 6.2% at 0.77 pence on Thursday.
Langoulant joins the board with immediate effect, having previously been director and CFO "for a range of companies listed on AIM and ASX" in London and Sydney.
The natural resources exploration and development firm said Lagoulant joined the company earlier this month and a full handover with exiting CFO Andrew Rodgers is now complete, with Rodgers stepping down immediately.
Metals Exploration Chief Executive Darren Bowden called Langoulant a "highly experience CFO" and said he had "significant experience in the mining sector".
