Metal Tiger's Drilling Programme Starts At Kalahari Copper In Botswana

LONDON (Alliance News) - Natural resources investor Metal Tiger PLC on Thursday said a diamond drilling programme has started at the Kalahari copper project joint venture with MOD Resources in Botswana.

Metal Tiger said a resource drilling programme has commenced at the T3 prospect at the project, with a view to delineating a maiden mineral resource. The drilling it expected to complete in the third quarter of 2016.

Core drilling work on the project has continued to deliver encouraging results, the company added, and assay results will be published in due course.

Metal Tiger owns a 30% stake in the project, with the balance held by Australia-based MOD.

Shares in Metal Tiger were up 0.6% to 3.52 pence.
