LONDON (Alliance News) - Metal Tiger PLC Friday said its joint venture in Thailand has moved into the ground operations phase, and said its exploration programme will begin before the end of March.
The company's joint venture in Thailand is with South East Asia Exploration and Mining Co Ltd and is focused on two gold regions, with Metal Tiger holding a 10% stake in the venture, but this could rise to to 75% if it spends a further USD175,000 on exploration and licensing expenditure on the project.
Metal Tiger said its Chairman Terry Grammer and Chief Executive Cameron Parry visited the project and signed of the exploration programme.
Metal Tiger shares were up 13.3% to 0.680 pence per share on Friday afternoon.
