LONDON (Alliance News) - Metal Tiger PLC Monday reported another set of positive assays from its joint venture product in Botswana with MOD Resources Ltd.
Assay results from a further four diamond drill holes in the resource programme area of the joint venture, including one which has provided the strongest copper intercepts of the resources programme to date, with 27.5 meters at 3.2% copper, and 13 grams per tonne silver from 134 meters.
Metal Tiger has a 30% stake in the joint venture, whilst MOD holds the remaining 70%.
"We are very happy to report another batch of strong copper intercepts from the resource drilling programme on our Botswana joint venture. Hole MO-G-16D has been especially exciting, being the strongest resource hole drilled to date, with an average 3.2% copper over 27.5 metres and almost 62 metres of significant copper mineralisation in total," said Chief Executive Officer of Metal Tiger Paul Johnson in a statement.
"We also note that the results for MO-G-13D, the most easterly of the diamond holes yet drilled, points to mineralisation continuing to the east outside of the current resource drilling envelope which now measures 1 kilometre wide," Johnson added.
Shares in Metal Tiger were up 4.4% at 3.34 pence Monday morning.
