LONDON (Alliance News) - Natural resources investor Metal Tiger PLC said Thursday it invested a further GBP86,400 in joint venture partner MOD Resources Ltd in a pair of transactions on Wednesday and Thursday.
Metal Tiger purchased a combined 3.3 million shares in MOD Resources for a total of AUD153,639 or GBP86,400. Metal Tiger bought 97,043 shares at AUD0.0468 each worth AUD4,546 on Wednesday. Then, on Thursday, it acquired a further 3.2 million shares at AUD0.4655 each for AUD149,101.
After the transaction, Metal Tiger holds 129.5 million shares or a 6.0% stake in MOD.
The buy follows Metal Tiger hiking its stake to 5.9% on Monday through a GBP611,000 purchase. At the time of this earlier purchase, Metal Tiger said it also held 1.54 billion warrants exercisable until April 2019.
Shares in Metal Tiger were 0.7% higher at 2.09 pence on Thursday.
