Metal Tiger Gets Positive Results From Kalahari Drilling In Botswana

1st Apr 2016 09:20

LONDON (Alliance News) - Natural resources investor Metal Tiger PLC on Friday said encouraging assay results have been secured from the drilling programme at the Kalahari copper joint venture project in Botswana.

Metal Tiger holds a 30% stake in the project, with the rest held by partner MOD Resources.

Assay results have been received for all six drill holes at the site, confirming encouraging copper and silver intersections in five of the holes. The intersections included copper grades of up to 6.12% and silver shows of up to 110.0 grams per tonne in the strongest of the drill holes.

"The results published today are in line with my expectations for the project in terms of demonstrable mineralisation. This is merely one project in a huge area of licences where we continue to find a significant number of copper anomalies that we intend to investigate," said Metal Tiger Chairman Terry Grammer.

Metal Tiger shares were up 4.6% to 3.97 pence.
