Metal Tiger Gets Approval For T20 Dome Complex Plan

11th Sep 2018 13:16

LONDON (Alliance News) - Metal Tiger PLC said Tuesday that the Botswana Department of Environmental Affairs has approved Environmental Management Plan for the drilling part of the T20 dome complex at its copper belt joint venture in Botswana.

The company plans to start the diamond core drilling in the fourth quarter of 2018. The approved plan covers drilling within a 700 square kilometres area in the northern part of the T20 Dome complex, the company said.

Earlier this month, Metal Tiger said the latest assay results from its Kalahari Copper Belt joint venture confirmed further copper intersections at the A4 dome.

Chief Executive Officer Michael McNeilly said: "We are very pleased to announce the receipt of the Environmental Management Plan approval for the planned drill programme within the A20 Dome complex.

"We are excited at the prospect that T4 and the wider T20 Dome Complex will yield further high-grade intersections and are eager to apply the team's technical knowledge to the discovery of further copper deposits in this part of the emerging copper belt."

Metal Tiger shares were trading down 2% at 2.40 pence each.
