LONDON (Alliance News) - Investment company Mercia Technologies PLC on Friday said portfolio company nDreams has won a developer appointment from US search and technology giant Google, part of Alphabet Inc.
nDreams, an independent developer and publisher focused solely on virtual reality entertainment software, has been appointed alongside EA Games and Ubisoft as one of the first developers on Daydream, Google's mobile virtual reality platform.
In addition to the Google deal, Mercia said the nDreams team is working on The Assembly for PlayStation VR, HTC Vive, and Oculus Rift, and developing Gunner and Perfect Beach for Samsung Gear.
No financial details were revealed on the agreement. Mercia owns a 40% stake in nDreams.
Shares in Mercia were up 0.6% to 44.01 pence Friday.
