LONDON (Alliance News) - Early-stage technology sector investor Mercia Technologies PLC on Monday said it has signed three new university partnerships in Scotland and another one in the north of England.
Mercia said it has sealed partnerships with Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh Napier University, and the University of St Andrews in Scotland, and with Sheffield Hallam University in England.
The new agreements bring the total university partnerships Mercia currently has in place up to 18, covering nine in the Midlands, four in the north of England and five in Scotland.
Mercia said the partnerships provide it with access to a robust flow of spin-out and early-stage investment opportunities.
Shares in Mercia were down 2.2% early Monday to 44.00 pence.
