LONDON (Alliance News) - Mercia Technologies PLC said Wednesday it has appointed former IMI PLC Chief Executive Martin Lamb to its board as a non-executive director.
Technology commercialisation and investment firm Mercia said Lamb's appoint was effective from Tuesday. Lamb, 55, was chief executive of FTSE 250 engineering firm IMI for 13 years before retiring at the end of 2013, Mercia said.
Lamb holds 100,000 shares in Mercia and will join the Audit Committee of its board.
Mercia shares were up 2.7% Wednesday morning at 76.00p.
