LONDON (Alliance News) - Technology investor Mercia Technologies PLC on Wednesday said it has made a GBP1 million investment in user-generated content platform Crowd Reactive Ltd.
The investment will comprise two GBP500,000 tranches, the company said, and follows an early-stage investment made in the company by third-party funds managed by Mercia's Mercia Fund Management subsidiary.
Crowd Reactive is a user-generated content platform for events and venues.
"Crowd Reactive is a new emerging star from our early stage portfolio. It's a fast growing business that has shown great progress since MFM's original investment, and has been remarkably successful in winning new business from globally recognised brands," said Mark Payton, chief executive of Mercia.
Mercia shares were trading flat at 59.50 pence on Wednesday.
