(Alliance News) - Mercia Technologies PLC said Friday it changed its name to Mercia Asset Management PLC to better reflect its core business.
Mercia adopted the new name to "reflect the evolution of the group's core competencies as a proactive, regionally-focused specialist asset manager".
The move comes ahead of the firm reporting it results for the year ended March on Monday.
Shares in Mercia were 0.1% lower at 31.77 pence in London on Friday.
