LONDON (Alliance News) - Technology investment company Mercia Technologies PLC on Tuesday said it has secured three new university partnerships in the north of England.
Mercia has signed partnerships with the University of York, the University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University.
The partnerships will give Mercia the opportunity to invest in early-stage technology businesses developed at the institutions.
"The North of England has a wealth of untapped potential in terms of scalable technology businesses, and we look forward to working closely with the technology transfer teams at each of our new university partners to build, fund, and support the accelerated growth of their promising spinout companies," said Chief Executive Mark Payton.
