(Alliance News) - Mercia Asset Management PLC said Tuesday said it has invested GBP2.0 million in Voxpopme Ltd as part of a wider GBP7.5 million syndicated funding round in the Birmingham-based software company.
The asset manager said it now owns 23.7% in the video analytics company following the direct investment. The investment round attracted Chicago-based Origin Ventures and NVM Private Equity.
"Voxpopme is enjoying rapid revenue growth built from both domestic and US sales. The company is recognised as a leader in the agile qualitative research market. The company's reputation across multiple industry sectors is particularly impressive, and we are delighted to welcome two new high-profile third-party investors to Voxpopme's share register," said Mercia's Chief Investment Officer Julian Viggars.
London-listed shares in Mercia were trading untraded at 30.50 pence each on Tuesday.
