(Alliance News) - Merchants Trust PLC on Tuesday declared a third quarterly dividend of 6.8 pence per share, unchanged from the dividend declared for its second quarter.
The dividend is payable on March 11 to shareholders on the register at the close of business Friday next week.
The investment trust said it intends to maintain quarterly dividends at the current level for the rest of the year, which would lead to a minimum annual dividend of 27.1p for its financial 2020, reflecting a 4.2% increase on the previous year's annual dividend of 25.9p.
Shares in the investment trust closed 2.5% lower at 551.00p each on Tuesday in London.
