LONDON (Alliance News) - Mentum Inc Monday said it is progressing with discussions over prospective corporate transactions.
The investor in natural resource companies posted the release in response to recent increases in its share price.
Mentum said that whilst progress continues on a possible corporate transaction, the company has yet not reached a stage where it can be sure that any corporate transaction will take place.
The company said it will inform the market of any changes when appropriate.
In June, shareholders approved a new investing policy of acquiring securities or assets in UK-listed companies with a focus on natural resources, primarily the oil and gas sector. Mentum was formerly known at Commoditrade Inc. when it was a metal and energy brokerage and commodity trading company.
Mentum shares were up 16.9% to 0.76 pence Monday.
