LONDON (Alliance News) - Aerospace company Meggitt PLC said Tuesday that Chief Financial Officer Doug Webb will retire from the company at the end of December.
The FTSE 250-listed company appointed Louisa Burdett as CFO-designate with effect from October 22. She will work alongside Webb to ensure an "effective transition" ahead of assuming the role of CFO from January 1.
Burdett is currently non-executive director of FTSE 250-listed Electrocomponents PLC and had been finance director for Victrex PLC until last April, having started in her role there in 2014.
Prior to that, she was CFO at Optos PLC and held senior executive positions at GlaxoSmithKline PLC.
Meggitt shares were trading down 0.7% at 540.40 pence each early Tuesday morning.
