MedicX Fund Buys South Wales Healthcare Centre For GBP1.6 Million

LONDON (Alliance News) - MedicX Fund Limited Friday said it has bought a primary healthcare centre in Porth, South Wales for GBP1.6 million.

The UK-focused primary-care property investor said the property is let to the local health board and is currently on a 25-year lease with 18 years remaining.

The MedicX Fund's total property portfolio now comprises 123 properties throughout the UK of which 112 are complete and 11 are under construction, it said.

The company's yearly rent roll for all properties is now GBP29.4 million.

MedicX shares were down 1.8% to 83.188 pence Friday.
