LONDON (Alliance News) - Medicx Fund Ltd Thursday said it has agreed to acquire a new primary healthcare medical centre in Norwich for GBP2.7 million from an unnamed vendor.

The property will be let to a general practitioners practice, who will take a 25 year lease from practical completion, subject to three-yearly effectively upwards-only market rent reviews.

The site is due to be completed in March 2015.

The MedicX Fund's total property portfolio now comprises 136 properties across the UK, of which 129 are operational and fully let, with seven under construction. The annualised rent roll for all properties is now GBP32.5 million.

The stock was quoted down 0.9% at 83.25 pence Thursday morning.
