MedicX Fund Acquires Healthcare Centre In South Wales For GBP4 Million

LONDON (Alliance News) - MedicX Fund Ltd Thursday said it is acquiring a new primary healthcare medical centre at Briton Ferry in the Neath Port Talbot area of South Wales, for GBP3.96 million.

The primary care infrastructure investor said the property will be let to Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board and two GP practices, which will take 20 year leases.

The property is due to be completed in October 2015, it said.

MedicX said its property portfolio now comprises 137 properties throughout the UK, 130 of which are operational and fully let, with seven under construction. It said the annualised rent roll for all properties is now GBP32.8 million.

The company's stock was trading at 82.01 pence Thursday afternoon, up 0.01%.
