LONDON (Alliance News) - MedicX Fund Ltd Friday said it has completed the acquisition of four healthcare properties for a total of GBP12.0 million.
All four of the properties are fully operational and fully let, and MedicX will pay an initial GBP11.4 million with a further GBP600,000 being paid once it has fitted out and secured leases for one of the properties, it said.
A property at Fakenham was purchased by way of a corporate acquisition whereas the other three properties located in Wymondham, Abergele and Salisbury were property purchases, it said.
The MedicX Fund's total property portfolio now comprises 147 properties throughout the UK and Ireland, of which 141 are operational and fully let, with six under construction. The annualised rent roll for all properties is now GBP35.5 million.
MedicX shares closed up 0.6% to 84.0 pence per share on Friday.
