Mediclinic International Says CFO Craig Tingle To Retire

23rd Feb 2016 07:27

LONDON (Alliance News) - Mediclinic International PLC said Tuesday that Craig Tingle plans to retire as chief financial officer, although he will remain with the company until June 15.

This is to oversee the preparation and presentation of the company's results for the year to end-March, the refinancing of its bridge financing relating to the group's reverse takeover of Al Noor Hospitals Group, and to ensure a smooth transition to his successor.

The process to identify Tingle's successor is underway, the company said.

Mediclinic began trading under its new name on Monday following the GBP1.36 billion reverse takeover by Abu Dhabi-based hospital group Al Noor Hospitals of larger South African rival Mediclinic International Ltd. Tingle had been CFO of Mediclinic before the merger.

The combined company has a market capitalisation of around GBP6.3 billion, which makes it eligible to enter the FTSE 100 at the next quarterly review in March.
