LONDON (Alliance News) - MediaZest PLC Friday said it has won a slew of new contracts and said it expects to announce further new business wins before the close of the half year.
The out-of-home advertising firm said it has won several new service contracts in the first half of its fiscal year, including a three-year deal with an existing client to rationalise estate costs. It said total new service contract revenue won will contribute more than GBP85,000 to the current half year, which ends on September 30.
In its fiscal second quarter, the group said it is providing development and installation services on four new projects with combined initial revenue of GBP320,000 and scope to win further work in the future. Three of the contracts involve new concept store developments, it said.
Elsewhere, the firm said it worked with Japanese consumer-electronics group Samsung Electronics Co Ltd in July on its Futurescape CIO marketing summit.
"These new business wins are significant in their value but also in the nature of the work being delivered," said MediaZest Chief Executive Geoff Robertson.
"Pipeline opportunities are strong, and the board expects to announce more significant new business wins before the end of the half year," Robertson added.
Shares in the firm were given a big boost at the open Friday, topping AIM briefly, but shares have since reversed and are now down 1.6% to 0.1408 pence in early trade.
