LONDON (Alliance News) - MedaPhor Group PLC Thursday said it has won a contract with the University of Cumbria for the supply of its ultrasound skills training simulators for an undisclosed amount.
Under the contract MedaPhor will supply four transvaginal simulator systems and two transabdominal simulator systems to the University, to be used for the University's new Medical Ultrasound MSc course.
"The fact that ScanTrainer is increasingly being used as a foundation technology for ultrasound education programmes is testament to the versatility of the simulator and its ability to scale to suit programmes of all sizes across both universities and hospitals. We're excited about the growing possibilities for MedaPhor across the global medical education sector," said Chief Executive Officer Stuart Gall in a statement.
