(Alliance News) - Mears Group PLC on Tuesday announced the signing of a new housing maintenance contract with North Lanarkshire Council.
The Gloucester, England-based social housing and maintenance service company is a leading provider to the UK housing sector.
Its latest 12 year contract to provide services to North Lanarkshire Council builds upon an existing relationship and has an estimated annual value of over GBP125 million.
The company will offer maintenance, statutory compliance, and inspection services alongside programmes of planned works to the council's 37,000 housing and 1,200 corporate assets.
Mears shares were down 1.0% to 385.50 pence each in London on Thursday afternoon.
