LONDON (Alliance News) - McColl's Retail Group PLC on Thursday said it has appointed Jonathan Miller as chief executive, following the resignation of James Lancaster.
Miller joined McColl's in 1991 and has been chief financial officer since 2004.
Meanwhile, Simon Fuller, who has been deputy CFO since October, will replace Miller as CFO. Before October, Fuller was UK finance director at Tesco PLC, having previously worked at BT Group PLC and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Following his resignation as CEO, Lancaster will take over as non-executive chairman until April 2017.
"We are confident that this new board will enable McColl's to achieve its strategic objectives and maximise new opportunities," Interim Chairman Sharon Brown said in a statement.
Shares in McColl's were untraded on Thursday, last quoted at 160.25 pence.
