(Alliance News) - Retirement homes developer McCarthy & Stone PLC on Tuesday said that Rowan Baker intends to step down as chief financial officer and director to assume the same finance role at construction company Laing O'Rourke.
McCarthy & Stone has appointed Martin Abell as CFO designate, effective from May 26.
Abell, who most recently was CFO of pharmaceutical services company Clinigen Group PLC, will assume the CFO role at the start of August following Baker's departure.
The FTSE 250 shares in McCarthy & Stone were down 1.8% at 71.50 pence each in London.
