LONDON (Alliance News) - Household and personal-care products company McBride PLC said Monday that its incoming Chief Financial Officer Chris Smith will join the company on January 7, 2015.
McBride poached Smith back in July from foils and packaging material manufacturer API Group PLC, where Smith had been group finance director since 2008 and helped turnaround the business. Prior to API, Smith was finance and IT director of Europe and Asia at Scapa PLC.
Richard Armitage, McBride's former CFO, left the company at the end of July, with Director of Finance David Main acting as interim CFO until Smith joins.
McBride shares were trading 4.7% higher Monday afternoon at 84.00 pence.
