McBride Confident On First Half As Revenue Grows In Constant Currency

12th Jan 2016 08:45

LONDON (Alliance News) - McBride PLC on Tuesday said that revenue grew on a constant currency basis in the first half of its financial year and that first-half underlying trading results will show further overall progress.

The household and personal care products company said group revenue in the six months ended December 31 rose 0.4% in constant currency compared with the first half of the prior year.

McBride added that profit is benefiting from "business simplification, streamlining and cost initiatives", and that as a result, first-half underlying trading results will show further overall progress compared with the first half of the prior year.

McBride will announce its first-half results on February 24.

Shares in McBride were trading up 4.5% at 156.48 pence on Tuesday morning.
