(Alliance News) - McBride PLC said Monday it has appointed Independent Non-Executive Director Jeremy Nodland as chair elect with immediate effect, taking on the role fully at the group's annual general meeting on October 22.
He will be succeeding John Coleman at the household goods firm after three years in the role since 2016.
Nodland joined McBride as non-executive director in June, and his most recent executive role was chief executive officer of US consumer packaged goods firm KIK Custom Products Inc for 11 years from 2008 to 2019.
"I am honoured to take the role of Non-Executive Chair of McBride. The company has a rich history of manufacturing excellent products for the European retail market. We are excited about the group's future prospects and I look forward to working with a talented leadership team and our dedicated employees," Nodland said.
On Friday last week, McBride appointed Ludwig de Mot as chief executive officer with effect on November 1, replacing Rik de Vos who stepped down in July after four years since 2015.
Shares in McBride were up 1.0% at 55.75 pence on Monday.
