Maven Income & Growth VCT 5 Net Asset Value Increases, Dividend Up

LONDON (Alliance News) - Maven Income & Growth VCT 5 PLC on Thursday said its net asset value per share rose in its last financial year as it added seven new private equity investments to its portfolio.

The fund said its net asset value per share at the end of November was 41.42 pence, up from 39.50p a year earlier.

The company added seven private equity investments over the course of the year, while income from its investments rose 40% year-on-year. In the year, the fund disposed of its holding in environmental services firm Steminic and in cloud computing company Six Degrees Group, both of which were profitable exits.

The fund said it will pay a final dividend of 1.75p, up from 1.70p, meaning its total payout will rise to 2.65p, up 6.0% year-on-year.

Maven Income & Trust VCT 5 shares were untraded Thursday, having last traded at 37.00 pence.
