LONDON (Alliance News) - Maven Income and Growth VCT 3 PLC Friday said its net asset value total return per share rose by 1.8% in the first half of its financial year.
The trust's net asset value total return per share rose to 130.5 pence at May 31, compared with 128.2p at November 30. Its net asset value at May 31 was 88.8p per share, while its dividend remained flat at 2.00p.
Maven said that its private equity portfolio has generally performed well, and strong trading results have led to valuation uplifts for a number of companies operating in a range of sectors.
"During the reporting period the Maven team has continued to source investment opportunities in mature businesses across the UK, and the asset base now includes 47 private companies, the majority of which are trading in line with or ahead of plan, and paying a regular yield," the company said in a statement.
Shares in Maven were untraded on Friday, last trading at 75.75 pence.
