LONDON (Alliance News) - Engineering and technology recruiter Matchtech Group PLC said profit for the financial year to the end of July will meet its expectations as group net fee income was boosted by acquisitions and a solid like-for-like performance.
Matchtech said group net fee income in the year to July 31 grew 34% year-on-year to GBP73.2 million from GBP54.8 million, boosted primarily by the acquisition of Networkers.
On a like-for-like basis, net fee income increased 1.0% over the year, with a better performance in the second half offsetting sluggishness in the first.
Matchtech announced in July it intends to change it name to Gattaca PLC, subject to shareholder approval. It will publish final results on November 3.
Shares in Matchtech were up 0.6% to 339.71 pence.
