LONDON (Alliance News) - MoneySavingsExpert.com founder and editor-in-chief Martin Lewis is to sell shares in price comparison site Moneysupermarket.com Group PLC, according to a Credit Suisse statement on Thursday.
Lewis will sell around 9 million shares in the company, a 1.6% stake, while the Charities Aid Foundation will separately sell 4.3 million shares in an accelerated bookbuild, which will be run by Credit Suisse.
Lewis was issued 22.1 million shares after he sold MoneySavingsExpert.com to Moneysupermarket.com back in 2012. He subsequently transferred 4.8 million of those shares to the Charities Aid Foundation.
Moneysupermarket.com shares closed up 1.5% to 296.00 pence on Thursday.
