(Alliance News) - Marshalls PLC on Thursday confirmed that Group Finance Director & Executive Director Jack Clarke will step down today following the initial announcement last month.
The FTSE 250-listed hard landscaping products company said Clarke will remain with the group until March 31, 2022 to ensure a "smooth and orderly" handover.
Additionally, Senior Independent Non-Executive Director Janet Ashdown will be retiring from the board after six years at the end of the company's annual general meeting in May. Chair of the Audit Committee Graham Prothero, who has been with the company for nearly four years, will take on the role after Ashdown retires.
"The board would like to thank Janet for her significant contribution to the success of the company, particularly in her capacity as senior independent non-executive director, chair of the remuneration committee and designated non-executive director for workforce engagement," said Marshalls.
Shares in Marshalls were up 1.1% at 692.00 pence in London on Thursday.
