LONDON (Alliance News) - Marshall Motor Holdings PLC said Wednesday its chairman has agreed to stay with the company until a successor can be found.
Back in March, the automotive retailer reported that Peter Johnson, who has chaired the company since its 2015 listing, planned to depart this summer. As the recruitment of his replacement is still in progress, however, Johnson has agreed to remain as chair for an unspecified period of time.
"The process to identify and appoint a successor to Peter Johnson as chairman of the company is ongoing," Marshall Motor said.
The company will make a further announcement once this process is complete.
Shares in Marshall Motor were untraded at 161.00 pence on Wednesday.
