Marks & Spencer Launches Up To GBP3.00 Billion Notes Programme

(Alliance News) - Marks & Spencer Group PLC on Friday said it may issue notes from time to time under a new GBP3.00 billion euro medium term note programme.

Notes may be distributed by way of private or public placement, the FTSE 250-listed grocer said.

The programme has been rated BB+ by S&P and Ba1 by Moody's, M&S said.

The company noted that the aggregate nominal amount of notes, interest payable in respect of notes, the issue price of notes and some other information which is applicable to each tranche of notes will be set out on or before the date of issue of the notes of such tranche.

M&S shares closed 0.3% higher in London on Friday at 96.18 pence each.
