LONDON (Alliance News) - Property investor Market Tech Holdings PLC on Monday said it has acquired a further property around its existing holdings in Camden in North London and said it is making progress with its developments in line with its expectations.
The company, which owns and manages the main markets in Camden, said it has bought the freehold on 49 Chalk Farm Road for GBP5.2 million. The property houses The Barfly, a bar and music venue, which is located opposite the Stables market.
Elsewhere, Market Tech said it has continued to make progress in line with its expectations on the Hawley Wharf development, with demolition now completed on the majority of the site and piling works started.
A detailing planning application for the Camden Lock Market re-development has been submitted and is expected to be considered by local authorities by the end of the year, Market Tech said.
The company will publish its interim results for the six months to September 30 on December 3.
